Will the gold fade or turn my skin green?

No — and this is the #1 thing our customers tell us they were worried about. We use 18K PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating, which bonds to the steel at a molecular level. Unlike traditional electroplating, PVD doesn't chip, fade, or leave green marks on your skin — even after months of daily wear. It's the same technology used in luxury watch cases.

Is moissanite actually as good as a diamond?

It's arguably better in the ways that matter. Moissanite has a higher refractive index (2.65 vs 2.42), so it throws more fire and brilliance than diamond. It ranks 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale versus diamond's 10 — hard enough for every day. It's lab-grown, conflict-free, and typically costs 90% less. The only real difference is the price tag and the label.

How do I pick the right size?

Spirava rings are available in US sizes 5–10 and necklaces come on an 18" chain with a 2" extender. The sculpted shapes are wider than a plain band, so if you're between sizes on a ring, go up. Sizing exchanges are free within 30 days — you only cover return shipping.

How do I care for the natural stones?

The onyx, malachite, and quartz are sealed and set flush into the metal, so normal wear is no problem. To keep them looking their best: wipe with a soft dry cloth, and put perfume, hairspray, and lotion on before your jewelry, not after. Rinse with fresh water if you've been in the pool or ocean.
